Do Kickflips, Not Drugs: Christmas Skateboard Giveaway

Sunday was a day of giving for Lake Havasu City youth, who received free skateboards from generous residents. Members and friends of Streethearts Ministry handed out the equipment to deter youth from drug use. Ministry founder Doug Hunter greeted young skateboarders and their parents at Tinnell Memorial Skate Park. His group’s message of “Do Kickflips, Not Drugs” sparked conversations among teens present. Hunter’s initial purchase of 50 skateboards dwindled to almost half, with 22 distributed on Sunday.

Impact: 22 skateboards distributed, fostering positive engagement for youth and encouraging a drug-free lifestyle.
